April Morning documents Meags’ home birth through a series of water colour and coloured pencil drawings. Inspired by her resemblance to her mother, she explores the physical transition into motherhood.

In 2009, April Morning was displayed alongside Crèche in the Illingworth Kerr Gallery and was featured in issue 46 of The Filing Station Literary and Arts Magazine.
